KING is seeking a motivated individual who will assist with program related metrics collection and analysis as well as the grant seeking and writing process. Hours are flexible between the 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a 10 hour weekly commitment required.
Responsibilities:
- Research new funding opportunities for Kids in a New Groove
- Assist in maintaining records of ongoing, past and upcoming grants
- Assist in the grant writing process for upcoming grants
- Assist in collecting defined metrics for each student, including surveys from students, teachers, foster parents and caseworkers
- Assist in entering student lesson information and metrics into Salesforce
SPECIAL EVENTS AND SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
Responsibilities:
- Create/Upkeep a social media plan utilizing Facebook, Twitter and Instagram that promotes upcoming events and aspects of the KING program through social media
- Create Social Media Kits for each event for staff and board members to utilize and promote through their own social media avenues
- Assist in creating monthly online newsletters for KING supports and donors via Emma
- Assist in event planning and promotion/marketing of all KING events (i.e. KING Concert Club, Student Workshops, Music Matters Luncheon, etc.) by creating save the dates/invitations, assisting in seeking out silent auction items, assisting in creating event marketing materials, etc.
