We’re a startup, so you’ll get some amazing cross-functional experience ranging from marketing & sales to PR & creative to business strategy. You’ll report to both the CEO and Growth Lead and will see first-hand how both marketing and operations decisions are made in a high-growth startup environment.
Activities will include but are not limited to:
– Campus & guerrilla marketing strategy development
– Social media marketing & PR
– Sales, trunk show, and event strategy & execution
– Showroom (opening in late summer/fall) staffing as necessary
– Customer operations & communication
– Business strategy (general)
– Creative content (if fitting for student background)
We expect the time requirements to vary quite a bit based on business requirements and student availability, but an average week may include 15 hours of work.
This opportunity will include a good amount of customer interactions in sales environments, which we’d expect interns to be or grow comfortable with — you’ll become a true representative of the brand!
You can expect to receive direct mentorship from our founding team and as much business-based exposure as you want to absorb! We’re looking forward to meeting some great students.
Qualifications:
– Charismatic, self-starter personality
– Hunger to learn
– Desire to work in a startup environment
– Eagerness to work with customers on both sales and strategy/marketing approach
– Marketing & communications exposure a plus but not required
– Business exposure a plus but not required
Years: Freshman-Senior
Pay: $10-15/hr
Hours: 10-20 hrs/week
