Austin School of Film Office Intern

Austin School of Film is looking to fill an office intern position that will work closely with our current Community Coordinators. While this is an unpaid internship, a participant in this position will gain a mastery of basic office skills, workplace etiquette, and event management while also enjoying the ability to take classes, participate in our membership program, and enjoy our artist services.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

-Is interested in work-trade for classes at ASoF and membership to the Austin Cinemaker Space.
-Has availability a few nights a week, and weekends. Will average around 15 hours/week depending on the current event schedule.
-Interested in the arts and supporting the local artist community.
-Capable of being flexible day-to-day in a position that often differs from a standard routine.
-Ready to learn some of the inner workings of a medium-sized non-profit.
-Has a good understanding of social media platforms.
-Must be able to use a word processor and spreadsheet program (Word, Excel, Google Docs)

Added bonus if the candidate has any of the following:
-Knowledge of some video editing and/or photoshop software.
-Enjoy attending arts events.
-Has an interest in graphics design.
-Would enjoy contributing to our blog (AustinCinemakerSpace.com) occasionally.
-Background in Salesforce.
