what WE need YOU to do for us
We need you to fill the role of Volunteer Services Intern. This is a PART TIME, NON-EXEMPT, UNPAID position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinating volunteer groups who want to host activities for the youth we serve
- Recruiting and managing volunteers for fundraising events
- Recruiting and managing volunteers for the SAFE Holiday Programs
- Other duties as assigned to benefit the Volunteer Services Team
to be successful in this role, WE’LL need YOU to
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a minimum credit level as a Junior
- Office or customer service experience is strongly preferred
- Be able to respond to the public via email, phone calls, and in-person with grace and tact.
- Be able to work (3) four-hour shifts per week during M-F, 8:00a – 4:00p
- Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well as submit to a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
