Craven + Co., a local event production and design company here in Austin, has an internship available for Spring 2020. Below is the description:
Job Purpose:
Craven + Co. Event Production Agency is looking for an enthusiastic intern to come on board from January – April to learn and help with the 2020 Spring Season. We are a close-knit team passionate about producing impeccable + exciting events. Craven + Co. has successfully navigated and helped shape the Austin event scene for over 20 years.
What you will learn/gain:
- How to create compelling + informative vision boards for clients.
- Experience producing social media posts with trackable data results.
- How to request accurate orders from event vendors such as rental companies and caterers.
- How to conduct site visits and create event layouts.
- Help to prepare timelines and documentation for event management staff.
- Catalog event supplies + organize inventory.
- Assist on-site on event days to see how the whole show is run + how to make the most helpful impact.
Qualifications:
- An enthusiastic interest in Social Media Marketing.
- Proactive problem solving skills with a strong interest in event planning.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis in design + writing.
- Ability to work in high stress environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite
