The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) is a non-profit organization working to discover, preserve, and educate the community about Texas film heritage. By partnering with institutions and individuals across the state, TAMI digitizes and provides web access to thousands of moving images that offer insight into Texas history and culture. TAMI’s website (TexasArchive.org) is an innovative hybrid of a museum/archive/library. TAMI is a hub of professional knowledge in the realm of media preservation and the role of media as cultural heritage. We are energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive in our approach to media preservation.
