Seeking an enthusiastic, design lover as our Marketing Intern for Fall 2021 at a female, AAPI owned small business. This is a paid, for-credit internship with travel reimbursement.
Party at the Moontower is a design-forward event rentals company. Our rental inventory focuses on Austin modern furniture—eclectic, fun, and memorable! We service events such as corporate parties, conferences, weddings and other gatherings. We’ve worked with companies like Create + Cultivate, SXSW, VEVO, Spotify, Whole Foods, and C3 Presents!
We are a female & AAPI owned-small business. This is a hands-on internship and we love to have fun, but we take our work seriously! Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in marketing and events? Read on!
Your tasks include:
- Opportunity to create your own Moontower Marketing Project in any area of the business
- Help brainstorm and implement marketing campaigns
- Marketing admin e.g. assist with photoshoots, edit and organize photos, source design content for our newsletter
- Assist with Instagram planning and writing copy (will be assisted by manager)
- Create and brainstorm fun reels & mini videos for marketing campaigns
- Write monthly blog post
Qualifications:
- Be a college student and/or seeking college credit
- Commit to 10-15 hours per week
- Work in person with the team, Tuesday morning availability is required
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Digital savvy—social media, online softwares like Google Drive, etc.
- Ready to learn and roll with the fast-paced nature of the event business and willing to get your hands dirty
- Genuine interest in the events and/or interior design industry
- A creative spirit
Nice to have:
- Graphic design background or Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Basic knowledge of typography is a plus.
