Are you looking for an opportunity that offers hands on research experience? Are you interested in health, interventions, data analysis, or scientific reading and writing? Are you a Spanish speaker?
My team consists of epidemiologists, physicians, community advocates and academics. We aim to evaluate cardiovascular disease among Spanish speaking agricultural workers in Texas. We are studying perspectives, risks, and health seeking behavior related to heart health in this population.
This project offers many opportunities to gain research experience, i.e., helping us in conducting mixed methods efforts such as focus groups, interviews, and screenings. We will also offer the opportunity to assist in data management and research dissemination. We are looking for research assistants that are motivated, detailed, inquisitive, and independent.
