Climate change, plastic pollution, wildlife disappearing forever: the damage being done to our planet is heartbreaking. But solutions are all around us: solar and wind power, electric cars and buses, and on and on.
Environment Texas’s mission is to transform our ideas and imaginations into change that makes our world a greener and healthier place.
If you want to spend the summer learning how to make a real impact on the decisions that affect the energy we use, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the places we love, apply for an internship with Environment Texas. Each semester, we train students like you to analyze environmental problems, advocate for smart solutions, and build public support. And you’ll work one-on-one with one of our advocates or organizers, providing a unique, mentored experience.

Remote Summer Internships with the Alhambra US Chamber

The Alhambra US Chamber offers tremendous opportunity to gain invaluable experience in international education, international marketing and foreign affairs . An internship with the Chamber provides the following:

  • Professional networking and exposure to high-level executives in government, business, and academia
  • Leadership and mentor-training
  • Insight to educational, political, and social institutions

At the Chamber, we pride ourselves on the level of responsibility we give our interns as we aim to provide solid experience to the next generation of global leaders in business, governments, and NGOs. As a volunteer intern working onsite or online, you’ll be an important part of the Chamber team, responsible for individual or group tasks including:

  • Research viability of new initiatives
  • Market and promote international missions
  • Create social media strategy
  • Maintain social media platforms
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct benchmarking and market research
  • Assist with promotional outreach activities
  • Work with international students -online and onsite
  • Help with special event and conference preparation
  • Travel and appointment calendar coordination

Previous interns have experienced continued professional success, including working with organizations and enterprises affiliated with the Chamber’s networks. Former interns can now be found at both the federal and state government levels, Senate and congressional offices, several NGOs, and with some of our sister companies. Requirements include:

  • Exhibit strong personal interest in international business and/or education
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all Microsoft programs
  • Commit 12-15 hours per week
  • Have excellent written and oral skills
  • Contribute to work with positivity

Video Animator Short-term Paid Position

A current UT Austin student is looking for an animator to make a short film based on their Plan II Thesis, a composition about one of Neptune’s moons. This would be a short-time paid position. See more information below:
“Hi, my name is Austin Ali, and I am a fourth year Plan II and Music Composition student at UT. I’m looking for a video animator (PAID GIG!) to help me put together a seven minute video clip. The video will be accompanied by music I composed for my Plan II thesis project. My thesis, a cross between science and music, is called “A Musical Portrait of Triton, the Rogue Moon of Neptune.” The video animation would be a short depiction of the origin story of Triton, which involves moons smashing together in a spectacular collision.
