Nominations are now being accepted for The University of Texas at Austin selection for candidates for the Udall Scholarship. In 2013, the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation expects to award 80 scholarships of up to $5000 and 50 honorable mentions of $350 to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care.
Eligibility requirements:
- current UT Austin sophomore or junior committed to a career related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native health care (applicants in the tribal public policy or Native health care categories must also be Native American or Alaska Native)
- minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- U.S. citizen, U.S. national or U.S. permanent resident
