Great Wall China Adoption Internship
Are you a junior or senior in college? What about a graduate student working on a master’s degree? Great Wall China Adoption and Children of All Nations offers internships to students who are studying in various fields. Interns work with our outreach and marketing team, case managers, waiting child counselors, and referral teams to receive hands-on experience with families in the adoption process. This is incredibly beneficial for students interested in pursuing careers in communications, marketing, social work, psychology, sociology, and business. What’s the best part? Internships can be custom-tailored to your specific major and specific area(s) of interest!

Central Texas Table of Grace: Direct Care – Youth
Central Texas Table of Grace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide emergency shelter services to the children and youth in the foster care system. Their support contributes to an improved quality of life for children that have been abused or neglected. Supporting the development of self-confidence, healthful living, and good judgment, Central Texas Table of Grace will provide many children with a thorough foundation for success. (This is a 24-hour residential facility.) We are seeking individuals who have a passion for working with at-risk boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17.The Direct Care position requires the ability to exercise good judgment, remain calm in a crisis, interact positively with others, and use common sense. Direct Care Staff is responsible for providing supervision, being a mentor and good role model to our children, and assisting them with following the rules and structure of the program and activities. Experience is preferred.You must be 21 years of age or older, pass a background check, TB and Drug test. In addition, you will be trained in CPR/First Aid, Emergency Behavior Intervention, and other related subjects regarding children and mental health.The starting pay for this position is $10 per hour. (There will be an opportunity for a wage increase based on experience and performance after a probationary period.) We are seeking both part time and full time employees, specifically we are looking for people with weekend availability. Shifts are generally 7a.m. – 3p.m., 10a.m. – 6p.m., 3 p.m. -11:00 p.m., 6 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., and 11p.m. – 7p.m. Please email or fax your resume to 512-717-6336.
