Volunteer: Research Assistants Needed for the LLAMA Lab
The LLAMA Lab is a psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic laboratory in the department of Mexican American and Latina/o Studies at the University of Texas at Austin.
Our research focuses on the long term cognitive and linguistic repercussions of early informal translation experience (i.e., language brokering). Other interests include: bilingualism/multilingualism, code-switching, figurative language, humor, Latina/o psychology, and creativity.
We are in need of research assistants that can assist in data collection and coding. Some knowledge of Spanish is desired, but not required.
If you’re interested in joining the Llama lab, then please email Dr. Belem López at llamalab.mals@gmail.com
