JOB DESCRIPTION:
TDHCA is seeking an intern to assist in research related to legislative and policy issues. This internship offers exposure to government programs and services, housing and community services activities and needs in Texas, and the state legislative process, particularly the budget process. College coursework in public affairs, government, political science, planning, or similar field(s) preferred.

Policial Action Committee Annie’s List is changing the face of power by recruiting, training, supporting and electing progressive, pro-choice women to state and local office in Texas. Political interns learn what it takes to recruit, train and support candidates for future office. They will: Assist in recruiting attendees for candidate trainings, reach out to local elected officials and progressive allies on behalf of Annie’s List, learn software pertinent to progressive campaigns (NGP & VAN), conduct political research, help with tasks for other departments as needed.

Great Wall China Adoption Internship

Are you a junior or senior in college? What about a graduate student working on a master’s degree? Great Wall China Adoption and Children of All Nations offers internships to students who are studying in various fields. Interns work with our outreach and marketing team, case managers, waiting child counselors, and referral teams to receive hands-on experience with families in the adoption process. This is incredibly beneficial for students interested in pursuing careers in communications, marketing, social work, psychology, sociology, and business. What’s the best part? Internships can be custom-tailored to your specific major and specific area(s) of interest!
