PREVENTION RESEARCH LAB OVERVIEW
The Prevention Research Lab is run by Dr. Keryn Pasch in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education. The lab conducts research projects to understand, prevent, and reduce youth risk behaviors. Currently, we have research projects on the co-occurrence of youth risk behaviors and media influences on alcohol use and obesity.
Undergraduate Research Assistant Tasks:
– completing data entry and data cleaning
– transcribing interviews
– coding of advertisements
Additional tasks as appropriate:
– assisting with focus groups
– conducting literature reviews
– assisting with manuscripts, IRB applications, and grant applications
