VISION OF COWORKING INTERNSHIP:
Cultivating entrepreneurship & wellness by providing opportunities for growth and development in an environment that supports innovation, honors diversity and builds community.
Successful participants complete the Internship Program with the following:
– Professional experience running a small business & maintaining client relationships
– Collaborating with individuals & teams to meet project objectives and achieve goals
– Understanding of the importance of health & well being in a balanced work life
– Training for the specific skills required for a career in the Coworking Industry

Soma Vida, a Wellness Coworking Community, provides flexible and affordable workspace with access to private offices, coworking, meeting rooms, workshop and class space, all within a community of entrepreneurs dedicated to creating work/life balance. INTERNSHIP PROGRAM COMPENSATION:
– Hands-on professional experience by working with a diverse community of entrepreneurs; gaining insight into how to effectively running a small company while advancing your career path and building your resume
– Career and networking support for professional development, job search, resume, interview, salary negotiation, contact/referral support and career strategy coaching through Conscious Ambition, offered by Laura Shook Guzman, LMFT
– Students may be eligible to receive college credit
– Main compensation is a 4 month Work Well Coworker PLUS Membership Package including; coworking space (free coffee & tea + work/study space), educational programing and events, community connectivity (social + professional networking), and discounts on yoga and wellness services. (valued at $1500+)
– Performance-based stipend at end of the semester based on contributions.

– 10-15 hours a week with availability for 1-2 shifts each week (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs), flexible
– Strength of character, including; a professional and positive attitude, the ability to grow and develop through challenges, and the tenacity to meet project deadlines
– Completion of 4 semesters in study for a related field
– Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
– Membership Database experience is a plus
– Writing experience is a plus
– Spanish speaking/writing is a plus
