With generous support from the Shield Ayres Foundation, the Institute on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault’s (IDVSA) Research Fellows Program has up to five positions available for Fall 2015, with continuation in Spring 2016. Fellows work directly with program directors to contribute in the following areas of interpersonal violence:
- Mapping Human Trafficking Crimes
- Victim-Centered Notification in “Cold” Cases
- College Campus Sexual Assault Research
- Testifying as an Expert Witness in Family Violence, Stalking and Strangulation Cases
- Measuring Statewide Prevalence of Sexual Assault Crimes
Through critical inquiry and collaborations with community partners, Fellows integrate theoretical knowledge and research activities with community engagement. This program is up to one academic year long and Fellows commit to six hours a week. Fellows receive a small honorarium.
