Our Philosophy:
Neema International is a place-based intervention program, alleviating the cycle of poverty in Uru from a multilateral approach. We are Searchers, learning day by day with the community what works and what doesn’t. This requires passion, creativity, independent thinking, and dedication to improving the lives of others.
Internship Program:
Interns are responsible for finding the funds to cover their internship, through personal funding or applying for scholarships or grants. Internships last between 3-6 months. Interns are encouraged to learn basic Swahili and immerse themselves in Tanzanian culture.
