About the Role
This internship opportunity is intended to support the product development team. This role includes contributing to the successful execution of the design and development of medical devices for the spine market, assisting senior engineers in bringing a product from idea/concept through design, prototyping, development testing, design verification and validation, manufacturing, FDA approvals, product introduction and post introduction monitoring.

Preferred Skills:

· Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
· May require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
· Repetitive measurements and mechanical testing
· Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. using a computer mouse, caliper measurements, using a calculator, etc.)
