East Side Compost Pedallers Seeking Summer and Fall Interns

Intern With The Pedallers!

The East Side Compost Pedallers is a 100% bike-powered compost recycling program that collects compostables from east side homes and businesses and pedal them directly to nearby urban farms and community gardens to grow more local food for our community.  Our mission is to build a more vibrant Austin community by reducing waste, strengthening our local food system, and re-connecting neighbors to each other and the places that they live through more sustainable practices. All without burning a single drop of fossil fuel!

The East Side Compost Pedallers currently have internship positions available summer and fall 2013. This is a great opportunity to gain real world work experience and skills while working with a passionate start up on the cutting edge of social entrepreneurship in Austin, TX.

Asatte Press Summer Internships in Animation, Illustration, Photography, and Video

Asatte Press is pleased to announce that we have flexible opportunities for students who want to gain some hands-on experience and build their portfolio in Animation, Illustration, Photography, or Video.

These are unpaid “learning experience” internships, which makes them very flexible and yields a number of benefits for the student:

1) Flexible Schedule – we can accommodate students who need to take classes or will have to travel during the summer.

2) No Previous Experience Required – we only require that students have passed their initial courses in the subject of interest. We will be happy to take Freshmen heading into their Sophomore year.

3) Variety of Interesting Projects – we have a variety of interesting small projects going this summer:

a) iOS Game (Animation, Illustration, Photography)

b) Android Game (Animation, Illustration, Photography)

c) eBook Development (Animation, Illustration, Photography, Video)

d) Blog-to-Book Development (Animation, Illustration, Photography, Video)

e) HTML5 Web Apps (Design, Photography, Video)

Job Requirements:

We only require that students have passed their initial courses in the subject of interest
