Summer 2015 Internships with Zappos!

How to Qualify for a 2015 Summer Internship:
- Must currently be enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited university in pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Must be a Junior/Senior that will graduate between May 2015 – June 2016.
- Must be able to relocate to Las Vegas from Monday, June 15th, 2015 – Friday, August 14th, 2015 (9 weeks) for the duration of the internship. (Don’t worry, we won’t make you hitchhike. We will assist with relocation and housing!).
Students who are currently enrolled and working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a projected graduation date that falls between May 2015 and June 2016 are eligible to apply for our summer internships. We are looking for significant coursework or extracurricular work in the targeted area. Above all, we look for candidates who can be stewards of our most important asset, our culture. We created ten core values to more clearly define what exactly the Zappos Family culture is. When searching for potential employees, we’re looking for people who both understand the need for these core values and are willing to embrace and embody them.

Merchandising
We help buy the stuff, trend and forecast what gets sold on our website. (We shop and crunch the numbers for products!)
Technology
We build, maintain and manage the website. (Some say we are trendy nerds!)
Business
We keep the company operating from the corporate side. (We run the numbers, market, and hire!)

The UT Microfarm, UT’s first student-run farm, is seeking team leaders, team members, and regular volunteers to attend our weekly workdays! Located near the Facilities Complex at 2204 Leona Street (at the corner of Manor and Leona), the Microfarm uses organic, sustainable methods to grow produce for UT dining halls and the local community. The following volunteer positions are available: |

All volunteer positions have the potential to earn a paid position for summer 2015 and/or the 2015-2016 school year. If interested, please contact the staff at microfarm@utenvironment.org for more information about position requirements. Interested volunteers should then attend a weekly workday (Thursdays 3:30-6:30pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm) to meet the staff and undergo any necessary training. (more info) |
