Non Profit Internship Fall 2023 with Ambassadors for Community Health

Summary:

During your time as Intern, you can expect to be exposed to all aspects of Non-profit Management including finance and accounting, marketing, donor, volunteer, and board relations, grant writing, fundraising, and program development and management. We look forward to helping you grow your skills in non-profit management during your internship.

 

Job Position Description:

Non-profit Management Intern will work on the following projects under the direction of the Executive Director. Flexible hours – approximately 10 hours a week.

  • Participate in grant mining
  • Help plan fundraisers
  • Program development
  • Communicate with the Board of Directors
  • Donor and Volunteer Relations
  • Newsletter creation
  • Brainstorming new initiatives
  • Learn non-profit accounting and financial management

 

The ideal candidate will have a desire to be in the non-profit industry upon graduation or plans on being in the healthcare field. Please note a background check, vaccinations, and drug test will be required as this internship is located inside a hospital.

Fall 2023 Internship with Impact Corps

Apply to Impact Corps by 8/1

Applications are now open for Impact Corps, a program of The Impact Factory that pairs UT Austin graduate and undergraduate student teams with community organizations and social enterprises for the fall and spring semesters. Students help partners address a challenge or meet a new need, while gaining real-world, hands-on experience.

Development/Marketing Fall 2023 Internship – Miracle Foundation

Role: Development/Marketing Intern

Reports to: Development Coordinator 

Intern Period: Fall 2023

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

The Development / Marketing Intern works with the Development Coordinator to assist with marketing efforts, assist with creative materials, website, donor thank you’s, fundraising campaigns, corporate & donor research, analyzing data and more. The intern will have the opportunity to attend team meetings and learn from the seasoned staff in each area.

Miracle Foundation offers both formal (for class credit) and informal internships. Interns are required to donate at least 10 hours per week of their time; preferred days are Mondays and Thursdays in the office with some remote work.

Requirements

Miracle interns must exemplify the following:

  • Global perspective, belief in our mission, and a passion for making a difference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of computer proficiency, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with effective time-management skills
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to follow through, and a willingness to do what needs to be done, no matter how large or small
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and conscientious
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
  • Professional, prompt, and dresses appropriately
  • Must be older than 18 or in college.
