Brief Description:

The PINK Foundation is a non-profit founded in Bulgaria that believes all children deserve a fair chance to lead a happy, healthy and productive life.

We operate a life transformation program built on long term commitment to children and youth. We start with kids as young as 3 years old, and stay with them until they reach maturity. In addition to group activities, our adult staff and volunteers set aside regular, individual time and attention for every child.

Job Summary:

Social Media Intern: The summer is a busy time for Pink as we prepare and carry out multiple camps for children ages 6-15. These include sports camps, camps connected to local churches, and service projects where staff and kids help repair mountain huts that are popularly visited by hikers in Bulgaria. We would like to build a better base of communication to both our partners and community through social media. This will include posting our events on social media platforms and engaging with the audience, capturing attention through thoughtfully chosen pictures and captions. Skills include strong organizational skills, social media fluency (across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) communication, creativity and curiosity as connecting to audiences cross-culturally requires. – Interns will work between 10-20 hours per week. – We will conduct an online interview for the hiring process – The position is unpaid, although if students would like to be paid, they may fundraise and our American staff may coach them in that process as we have experience in fundraising salaries.

Combination of both in-person and remote. If the students would like to come on-site for a cross-cultural experience and get to know our team in-person, we welcome the opportunity to host them either with team members or host homes, dependent on discussion and preference, at our office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

To apply email bobfaber15@gmail.com your resume and cover letter.
