SUMMARY:
During your time as Intern, you can expect to be exposed to all aspects of Non-profit
Management including finance and accounting, marketing, donor, volunteer, and board
relations, grant writing, fundraising, and program development and management. We
look forward to helping you grow your skills in non-profit management during your
internship. This is an unpaid internship.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Non-profit Management Intern will work on the following projects under the direction of
the Executive Director. Flexible hours – approximately 10 hours a week.
Participate in grant mining
Help plan fundraisers
Program development
Communicate with the Board of Directors
Donor and Volunteer Relations
Newsletter creation
Brainstorming new initiatives
Learn basics of non-profit accounting and financial management
The ideal candidate will have a desire to be in the non-profit industry upon graduation or
plans on being in the healthcare field. Please note a background check, vaccinations,
and drug test will be required as this internship is located inside a hospital.
